ROSHN Group, Saudi Arabia’s leading multi-asset real estate developer and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has launched ROSHN Group Local Content Program (RGLCP), a strategic initiative designed to reinforce the real estate sector’s contribution to the national economy in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. RGLCP focuses on three key pillars: empowering national talent through specialized training programs, accelerating the localization of supply chains, and creating new opportunities that stimulate local investment, enhance economic development, and expand local content capabilities.
RGLCP enhances the Group’s contribution to the national economy through an integrated approach centered on developing local supply chains, upskilling national talent, and empowering local developers in the building and construction sector. RGLCP also promotes investment in the Kingdom’s construction industry while preparing a new generation of national professionals, aiming to train thousands of Saudis by 2030 to develop, manage, and operate future projects within the Kingdom’s real estate ecosystem.
Notably, ROSHN Group has reached a 52% local content score and a 71% Saudization rate. The Group has also allocated more than 1.1 million square meters of land to local developers and signed over 70 long-term framework agreements with Saudi suppliers.
The launch of the ROSHN Group Local Content Program builds on the Group’s broader framework of initiatives dedicated to advancing local content through empowerment and innovation. These include its strategic partnership with the Public Investment Fund’s azm Program, the MUSAHAMA Design Competition, and ROSHN Hackathon. Collectively, these initiatives expand opportunities, nurture Saudi talent, and strengthen entrepreneurship, fueling growth across the Kingdom’s construction and real estate sectors.
Commenting on the launch, Ghada Alrumayan, ROSHN Group’s Chief Shared Services Officer, said: “Local content is a vital driver of national development, playing a central role in building a more diversified and sustainable economy. In line with this priority, ROSHN Group is introducing its Local Content Program as part of our broader expansion strategy to enhance the real estate sector’s contribution to national economic growth.” She added: “Through this program, we aim to set new standards for the industry, strengthen local supply chains, empower national talent, and expand collaboration with real estate developers across the Kingdom, fully aligned with the ambitions of Vision 2030 for a thriving and sustainable economy.”
